Summit Financial Education, Inc. does not participate in affiliate marketing programs and does not receive commissions or compensation for referring users to financial products or services. Any links to third-party products or services are provided for informational purposes only.

7. Payments & Refunds

We offer paid services and counseling through our Site. Payment is processed through secure third-party payment processors including PayPal, EVO, and Nationwide Payment Solutions.

Requests for refunds for Fees will be honored until a Certificate of Credit Counseling or Certificate of Debtor Education has been issued. Once a Certificate has been issued, no refunds will be approved. To request a refund, please contact us at support@summitfe.org with your order details and reason for the refund request. We will review each request individually and determine eligibility based on the specific circumstances.

All refund decisions are final and at our discretion.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The information on this Site is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Summit Financial Education, Inc. excludes all representations, warranties, conditions, and other terms which, but for this legal notice, might have effect in relation to this Site.

We reserve the right to log off or deactivate accounts that have been inactive for an extended period of time, in our sole discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking such action. Reactivation of an inactive account may be subject to re-verification of your identity and agreement to the then-current Terms.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall first be subject to good faith mediation. If mediation fails to resolve the dispute within sixty (60) days, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules.

You agree that any arbitration or legal proceeding shall be limited to the dispute between you and Summit Financial Education, Inc. individually. You waive any right to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against us.

The arbitration shall take place in Arizona, and the arbitrator's award shall be final and binding upon both parties.

Time Limitation on Claims: You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose, or it will be forever barred.

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of Arizona.

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the parties agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in that provision. All remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if made in writing and signed by Summit Financial Education, Inc.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or agreements published by us on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and Summit Financial Education, Inc. with respect to your use of the Site and Services.
